Understand your home-care options
Learn about Personal Care, Homemaker services, and In-Home Support Services (IHSS). Your Family Home Care LLC accepts Medicaid only. Eligibility and covered tasks depend on program requirements and an authorized care plan.
Homemaker services (HMK)
Help with everyday household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, and errands, when included in the authorized care plan.
Personal Care (PC)
Hands-on help with daily personal activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, based on individual needs and authorized services.
In-Home Support Services (IHSS)
Eligible members or their authorized representatives can direct care with agency support. IHSS may include authorized Personal Care, Homemaker services, and Health Maintenance Activities, subject to program requirements.
Health Maintenance Activities (HMA)

New client requests must start with our website form. We work with clients, caregivers, and case managers to understand authorized support needs. Submitting a request does not guarantee eligibility or services.
